WHAT ARE THE ROOM RENTALS?
Our room rentals range from $2750 to $4900, depending on the room you choose. We do offer promotions for non peak days and times.
WHAT DOES THE ROOM RENTAL INCLUDE?
Plans all event venue details and coordinates mock-up and time-line.
Day of event Coordinator oversees venue, catering and bar services on the event day.
Custom Layout Design of Room
Guest tables (60” rounds seats up to 8), sweetheart table, sign in table,
cake table, gift table, etc. *Based on availability.
Guest tables are set with choice of basic tablecloth and napkin, polished silverware,
centerpiece, salt, pepper and sugar.
Buffet table (if applicable) is covered in basic tablecloth and set up on an
8 ft. rectangular table.
Other tables must be specified and requested 30 days before event.

IS RIO PLAZA LGBTQ FRIENDLY?
Yes, we are inclusive of the LGBTQ community.
CAN WE BRING OUTSIDE CATERING?
We require in house catering and beverage service for all events unless otherwise authorizedby Rio Plaza Events Manager.
DO YOU OFFER GLUTEN FRIENDLY OPTIONS?
Yes, we have gluten friendly and vegetarian options.
IS THERE PARKING?
All nearby lots and garages are public parking and charge by the hour or have a daily rate. Rio Plaza is not responsible for any paid parking or reserved spaces.
IS RIO PLAZA A HOTEL?
No, we are a private event venue on the San Antonio River Walk
HOW MUCH IS THE FOOD?
Menus vary. Please contact your Event Coordinator for details
IS THERE A FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUM?
No, pricing is based off of a room rental, menu and bar choices.
IS THE VENUE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, all venues are handicap accessible through our elevator.
CAN I HAVE A CEREMONY AT RIO PLAZA?
Yes, we host ceremonies on the rooftop terrace.
DO YOU ALLOW OUTSIDE VENDORS?
We provide a preferred vendor list for vendors including photo/video, photo booth, cake/desserts, florist and DJ/band/musician. Exceptions to our provided list must be authorized by Rio Plaza Events Manager.
WHERE DO VENDORS UNLOAD?
Vendors may pay to park in the adjacent lot or park in the commercial loading zone on Crockett St. in front of Pizzarita's. Confirm with the coordinator which room the event is in. Please view our vendor guide here.
CAN YOU HELP ME PLAN MY WEDDING?
Our Venue Planner will guide you from your first inquiry to your special day, including tastings, mock ups and confirming your vendors one week prior to the wedding day. Our Day Of Event Coordinator will ensure all details are in place on the day of your wedding.
